(Sadly, RaNia's was altered beyond recognition.) 4Minute had to change their choreo for Mirror Mirror, AOA just had to change their choreo... hell, Vixx had to change their choreo so they weren't stabbing each other/themselves. It's not really a big deal. Companies should prepare a backup beforehand so the fans will be impressed by how smoothly the "new" choreo is executed, though. EDIT: ok, seems AOA is just being preemptive, but in any case they got to perform it as-is a few times and it is what it is in the MV, so good enough. They probably don't need to receive a formal ban to anticipate it coming (it's not like RaNia's was banned immediately either), so it's probably better PR to for them to say that they're responding to public concerns and blahblahblah. Besides, I feel like RaNia is an outlier. They brought in Teddy Riley and were kind of gunning for the US from the beginning (R.I.P, this aspiration.) They're hardly representative of what girlgroups at the time were risking. They was said that with pole dance, MV will be ranked 19+ and banned, so they dropped it, but still you can find Bora's pole dance vid on their YT channel.
