Pretty sure she said she was studying entertainment career-related things abroad... rather than normal school.  (Or maybe she actually said it was a possibility way back in the beginning?)

 

EDIT: I wonder if she does eventually debut, if all her idol friends (particularly the guys) would be able and willing to have her feature to help her along?  Some of them might actually have some more say in their music by then.
