An invitation to Kouhaku is probably the second most prestigious thing in the music industry. It's def not as big of a deal as it once was, but it's still a big thing. Sucess markers are: - being invited to Kohaku - being able to sell out dome tours (or some bigger stadiums) - million CD sales Consecutive oricon #1 used to be important, but it's not that relevant atm. I put it under the year-end shows because it actually does get high ratings even though only Johnny's acts perform and it's only like, 45 minutes lol.
