Could you imagine walking into the Grammys and saying "Justin Bieber sold more than Stevie Wonder, so he should win Album of the Year" That sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? Granted, I don't think any self-respecting awards show should be passing the biggest awards of the night to idols anyway, but the whole "if you sell more, you win awards" thing seems dumb. removed929393303 15,230 Posted November 19, 2016 Share Posted November 19, 2016 .......but some of these awards shows give judging criteria and that's why fans have expectations about who should win & you're talking about the grammy's as if there isn't judging criteria and there aren't disputes about the winners all the time. there are still plenty of arguments of saying __ was better than __ and should have won. artistic integrity is to subjective to purely base awards off that, that's why criteria exists to attempt to make it more fair.
