not sure if anyone has the same thoughts as me, i think the merger is doing jype good like you can see major upgrades in almost everything video, music, promotions (for the case of sunmi, i am still bitter abt 2pm adoty cb but i would like to think that they are just experimenting with a group that has a more stable fanbase  )

I can see bits and pieces of improvement already. They seem to have all these good plans in expansion and musically. Now, let's hope they can execute them successfully.

 

I enjoyed 2pm's cb and considering 2pm did most of the writing and composing on the album itself, I am curious if this is the sound they want and will stick to, or if they'll keep experimenting more .

TBF, I don't want them to. Even if they do, they must only overlap when  one is at the ending of their promotions and other in the starting...

If the 4th quarter projections do come true almost all will have to overlap at some point though; it's likely it won't be the usual "end of promotion/beginning of promotion" type either.

 

But I'm quite curious if 2pm's mini album will happen at all because they seem so busy.

Guys do you think block b & 2pm still have it going between them? I'm scared for 2PM ...

Other than the incident, was there any like real "beef" between them? it might be a bit awkward for some and probably a few trolls might try to start shit, but I don't see any reason why neither side won't be civil if they come across each other on stage.

I think its gonna be awkward too!!! And yeah I'm pretty sure that people are going to start to talk about 2pm especially block b fans or just trolls...yeah I just don't want any hate between them but don't think 2pm cares about the incident anymore

If anything was to start, it'll probably be because of trolls trying to get either or both sides up in arms. I'm quite sure neither side cares or wants to deal with a matter from over a year ago, so they are probably just like "whatever" or "oh...this will be awkward"  lol.

who was it? i beat them hell out he/her .. lol joking but i'm sure JYPE is a company who don't accept plastic surgery. JYP trainee may not be good looking like plastic surgery company SM trainee but they not ugly either..  they sure got talent.. so you don't need to listen to that girl/boy whatever cause they only care about look.

 

 

i wonder if the news back then was real? or someone make up (fake).. cause they said they debut girl group in oct. but after they release news about jype plan and what? there is no news in oct either comeback or debuting. but ok i'll give a bit more time cause i knew JYP is prepare for his wedding.. let's be patient for a while.

 

About the boy band: i dont think it's fake given the fact that it was JYPE themselves that released the projection for releases and they were on it (though it still doesn't guarantee everything will 100% be released in that order). Knowing JYPE, they'll release info on them like a week in advance or something lol.

 

I like how JYPE doesn't force their trainees to have plastic surgery procedures if they don't want them too rather than suggest it or force them and what procedures some of them do get done aren't usually too noticeable.

2AM's Jinwoon gets into an accident with a 25-ton truck + will be going into emergency surgery

 

2AM's Jinwoon will be going into emergency surgery after his car accident.

 

Big Hit Entertainment revealed, "The car Jinwoon was riding in crashed with a 25-ton truck at 11:30 PM on the 6th. He fractured his right ankle and has a laceration that is about 10cm (4 inches) long. He will be going into emergency surgery today."

He had been coming up to Seoul after an event. The manager and staff that was also in the car is currently in treatment as well.

If he needs time to recover, I hope he takes it nice and steady. If by chance 2am's comeback does get postponed for this, then it might be possible for JYPE to go ahead and push one of the comebacks/debuts a little earlier than planned (which I have no problem with either as long as Jinwoon gets to rest and things aren't too rushed). But then again, if JYPE does try and stick to this plan as much as they can, they might be a little more prepared for such a conflict than they were last year With. Nichkhun's accident and Miss A comeback.

Though I'm a bit sad about 2am's postponement, I would rather them do that so Jinwoon will actually take the time he needs to heal.

 

Given the amount of releases JYPE hope to put out in the 4th quarter, I wonder if someone else's comeback or debut will be pushed forward a bit to take the place of 2am's comeback,

Young stars especially, whether they are "idols" or not, get criticized for the things they do in the past. Perhaps it is because they believe that these stars are suppose to be role models for their fans. Although it does seem a bit unfair, because people often do make mistakes in their youth, it can come back to haunt you unfortunately. I'm sure all that criticism about her scandal didn't help her confidence levels at the time either.

 

Part of me wonders if she'll try to move agencies when her contract is up. I guess it depends on her wishes, and if agencies would take a chance on her if she did want to switch.

The JYPE founder shared his thoughts before walking down the aisle on his Twitter: "My heart feels restless, so I can't sleep. My grateful heart towards my family, friends, and fans... Today only through humbleness, and what is said and heard, I hope that this is the start of my change from chasing after things that won't last to things that are eternal."

 

He held a private wedding ceremony in Seoul out of respect for his non-celebrity fiancee who is 9 years his junior. His JYP Nation family were also present at the ceremony to witness the start of a new chapter in his life.

 

JYP Entertainment previously stated, "Of course, there will be no reveal of the wedding ceremony as well as no press conference. The guests in attendance will also not be revealed. This is J.Y. Park's decision out of respect for his non-celebrity fiancee."

 

Another rep stated, "J.Y. Park's wedding ceremony will be held at 4 PM KST. Other than the time and date of the wedding ceremony, we can't share any more details... It will be a small wedding of only 100 invited guests. It will thoroughly be carried out as a private wedding ceremony."

 

 

Another rep also commented on possible honeymoon plans, "It is likely that the couple will go off on a honeymoon after the wedding ceremony. We are not aware of where or for how long they will be gone."

You might be right. Considering we are midway through October, I don't think anyone else was really planned for this month other than 2am. Also, with miss A's return in November, it seems like they were the 2 artists to do overlapping promotions at the time. Unless they rush someone else's comeback/debut, I think October is out of the question now.

i think all that guys we've seen on "WIN" may not debut. I hope there are some hiding guys, cos the band ver. is lack of visual. :(

 

Dance Group is OK and I am pretty sure "Mark" will debut. His dancing skill is flawless.

Nah, I think a good deal of them will debut at least, maybe not all in the coming year. The little "hints" aside, I think it would almost be foolish not to include most or any of these boys, because there's hype surrounding them since that episode.

 

Visual wise, the band aren't bad imo. Of course, if they all get to debut, a little star style will probably help their looks a bit.  JYPE has handsome and pretty artists under their belts, but a good deal of them looked plain/average during their trainee days.

If they plan on doing at least some, if not all or most of those comebacks and debuts, my guess is they will have probably 2 artists cross promoting at the same time.2am was suppose to have their comeback this month, but that had to be postponed after Jinwoon's car accident. Miss A's is next month, and I've been seeing people on Youtube and other places saying 2pm have basically said that they are working on their next Korean release.

 

As frustrating as it may be, the schedule JYPE released isn't really set in stone. It's more of a goal f what they hope to achieve rather than promise to achieve. Different factors and situations may play in part in the release dates.

 

That said, I'm curious to see how they fit 2am's comeback back into their schedule. Are they going to have more than 2 promote at the same time? Or maybe, they might postpone someone else comeback a little bit for it.

How to people know that he will be debuting the girl group first? I thought it was the boy group first from the "JYP plan chart"

Speculation mostly it seems. Well that, and JYPE had said that they girl group was coming first before the boys appeared on WIN and the chart came out. However, it seems they may already be tweaking the plan at bit (my guess is because 2am's release, and if they are able to actively promote the album).

 

Also as the da-artist pointed out, it might be a good idea to do the girl group first after all, because they'll need to really work at creating their fanbase, where's as the boys will have a bit of an easier time. Either way, we will find out, eventually.

Girl groups and their labels have to work harder to get a following fanbase, while for boy groups it's easier since kpop fans are mostly girls. Maybe JYPE "will" debut the girls before so they can promote them a lot more than they will need to do so for the boy groups.

This basically. Of course, either way I'm sure JYPE will have to work hard and smart to promote the girl group to help them gain a fanbase regardless of the debut order. In my eyes, they may consider debuting them first to get those wheels turning. While the boys may lose some of that hype they gained through appearing on Win if they debut a little later, they'll have no trouble getting a fanbase starting, which means they have higher chance of getting some decent attention and sales first time around.

It still doesn't make sense. I can understand all the things that, GG's require longer time and more promotions to create a fan base, but what has that to do with order? Are you guys saying that if boy groups debut first, they will eat away GG's promotions?   

Not necessarily what I was going for. Although, it's not impossible for one to overshadow the others' debut if one's song did better than the others. Nor, did I mean to make it seem like the girl group's hype and success would ride on who debuts first. Rather, it was me trying to say that JYPE might way several factors to see who will debut first. With the boy band, they may play off the hype of their Win appearance and do well (if they have a decent or great song especially), or JYPE might decide to hold off knowing they'll still likely have a decent debut because of their following and growing fanbase as we speak. If that were the case, then they would probably consider putting their effort into another artist at first.

 

But a I said before, no matter the strategy, they'll have to promote the girl group, and all artists in fact, smartly. I could see why it would be wise to debut the boy group (s) first. But, it kinda makes sense to me if they decided to wait a bit for the boy group.

IDK, I like some of E-tribe's work, but all of the girl group songs I know from them are cutesy. So, let us hope they stay away from that route. Nothing wrong with the cutesy songs, but it doesn't really fit miss A's image.
