Even while 7-1 hasn't gotten much media play, it's good to see them actively promoting and releasing songs. It shows that the company is trying to get their name out. Thanks for posting. Oh, but am I thinking too much into it when I say that those girls in the back of the YT preview look like Fiestar?? lol just saying Among other, less exciting, news: the weekly schedule just got posted- not a music show perf in sight On the 17th they'll be at an Incheon High School campaign, then on the 19th they'll be at the WBS Captivating Concert, then on the 21st they'll be at the Bongdam High School Festival. Oh well at least Saturday's still free, so there's hope for Music Core? ^ To be honest, as much as I liked them from "Oppa Virus", I'm kind of not surprised they're not on Music Core or the bigger shows. I really like the SONG for "Break-up Fighting" but I can't handle the choreography. The majority of the members are 18+ :\ The choreo is a little juvenile for more than half of the group. The member (who's name is now escaping me) at around 2:10 of the mv making the heart above her head looks like she wants to kill someone. I want them to succeed and I want them to do well in the future, but realistically, they can't keep doing school theme and "cute" for the rest of their career. They're going to have to mature a little bit or it just isn't going to work. edit: not to say that you can't do a *fun* theme or a *different* theme. Clearly, I don't think that's the case or I wouldn't be stanning Orange Caramel and F(x), too. But I think the difference is those groups bring a bit more sophistication to the fun theme than the last mv appears to be doing. You have more adults than you do teenagers in this group. The funny thing is even teenage groups come out with more powerful stuff. Unless 7-1 is hitting a niche that I'm not aware of. It may be too early for another release by the end of the year, but maybe they can come out with a holiday release. Something cute like what BESTie or T-ara ("Bo Peep Bo Peep" Christmas concept) did. I first saw Oppa Virus when it came out and I thought it was really cute- I liked the off beat, almost unpolished directing style that the MV had. It reminded me of my Jpop roots, and when Always came out- it was only a digital single, so the MV was cut together footage.. ì´ë³„파ì´íŒ… was the second actual MV they released, and I have to agree that they could've matured a little more lol I mean, who doesn't love a Barney inspired video with girls jumping like mario? But if you look at this with the view of seeing them for the first time, it's also very childish haha More than just the concept upgrade- I was more disappointed with the director of the video.. Idk who noticed, but the framerate was well above the 24 fps kpop standard. It gives the video a very "roughed out" feel, making it seem like your not watching the final version. This is found more commonly in Jpop, another similarity. Sometimes I wonder if their CEO started the group as a way to test the waters for Jpop styles.. Lol just saying. Also, I think that they could make it doing school comebacks- it's an original concept, and there's not that many girl groups out there that are different like that, it's just that they need to keep advancing their music and visuals..
