Their songs are catchy and the choreo is fun. I kinda get a SNSD vibe from them, especially when they performed on the field. (There's a video out there with SNSD on a field performing) I hope they make a comeback soon and get popular I also thought they had the early SNSD thing going on when I first saw the "Always" MV. People always compare new groups to SNSD (even if the concepts are totally different), but this group has a similar quality when SNSD debuted IMO. I guess we'll wait and see. Lately (up until this MV) I've just been seeing them promoting "Oppa Virus" and "Always", and they were single releases. Reminds me of early T-ara and Kara videos and idk... It's REALLY good though. I'm so happy about it!! Like Kara's "Rock U". They also have this JPop feel from the 90's which is pretty cool. If my memory serves me right they had videos in Japanese, so I'm guessing they have a fanbase there too. Glad to see them out with new stuff. Since their name is "Year 7 Class 1" (ì¹ í•™ë…„ì¼ë°˜), and came out with a yearbook concept when they debuted we could do something like that with their pictures next to their member profiles? That's a good idea But i remember reading their introduction on facebook, each of them have their own work, like "in charge of school hygiene" or "in charge of sport" like that, my korean sucks so when i translate it it's weird as hell lol Anyway, what did i have to do so you can edit the main page? I'll add you and roselily but I don't know how, it's my first time being an OP As the OP I think only you can (unless we're Mods, Admins, Techs). What we can do is post any edits and you can copy and paste it into the OP. I also read their classroom roles, and it was criticized because one of the members (Yoo Hwa) is a "Bread Shuffle", which there are Koreans who say it's a role that gets bullied. The girls (them or their company) stated they saw it differently, so I'm not sure if they kept or dropped these roles. I found their positions and added it into this post. I'm not sure if they're correct so please look it over. There are a couple of roles I'm not sure on (ttolgi, treasurer). I actually thought that Kang Min Joo was not only the visual of the group, but the main dancer too (that wouldn't make sense to have 2 roles though). Shin Yi Rang is the main dancer. So back to the yearbook concept. The format is much easier, like a photo on the left or right and the member's profile next to it. How do you guys see it or was anyone working on another idea? The LaLaLa part reminds me some old song from the 60'. Yeah, there are some elements in the song that has a common tune of older songs. They've been doing smaller media promotions, but I too would like to see them on bigger shows. It must be difficult to get into those since they're not a known group. No i'm happy for you to do the student ID thing!!! ^^ I haven't gotten around to the indiviual profiles. That was just an idea I had! Sadly that is true, they are not popular, but at least youtube exists. Watching the performance from some events can save the day. Some others fancams: Yeah, I've been catching fancams here and there, and it's good to see them active. Even after their MV was released, they're still promoting "Oppa Virus" and "Always". I hope they promote their new song (no idea of the name) and have been invited on music shows. I'm not sure how popular this song will be or if it will attract new fans. Their MV is getting mixed reactions, but overall on the positive. I saw something in them early on (like SNSD when they debuted in 2007). I believe they have that type of potential. I personally like how real these girls look. Very pure and sincere, and not plastic-y at all. I hope not since some are still in high school. Some still have crooked teeth. The new song is called ì´ë³„파ì´íŒ… ("Farewell Fighting" according google trans). This is a good and catchy song. Same as you, I was reading some comments on youtube about the SNSD likeness but I don't agree. Cheerleaders and schoolgirls concepts I've seen in Jpop many many years before SNSD exist. The LaLaLa part is like Speedy Gonzales from the 60' and the whole song itself reminds me the ska genre from the 90' and it was many years before SME and SNSD. Some kids believe the the world started with SNSD. Ah, thanks for the translation! I didn't even pick up on the Speedy Gonzalas part. Good ears! I've always thought 7-1 had a JPop influence in their songs, and so I'm not surprised they're continuing in this direction. The reason I mentioned SNSD was from their MV "Always". That video was like a BTS and it reminded me of "SNSD Go To School" and "MTV SNSD". I saw something special in SNSD back then and I see something special in 7-1. Call it a vibe. Their concepts are very different (and I'm not comparing that), but the feeling is what I find similar. To me anyways.
