It was a lot of hype for a non event, don't you think? Do you think they would have reached Nation's Girl Group status like the Advertisement's for P101 promised if they came out with bops? Guest Posted November 16, 2016 Share Posted November 16, 2016 Both groups had 3 promotions already so you can compare to each other. imo IOI would have been TWICE's rivals if they were a real group. IOI does good both in digital and physicals. but TWICE does a lot better in both though. so they would probably be rivals but with TWICE doing better. as for having "better" songs I think IOI songs were fine though... Idk why Dream Girls was their debut song (sorry to thosewho actually liked DG, but this is just my opinion). IOI actually has good songs though. Being unbiased as possible, their albums have quite a fair amount of really good songs actually, specially in the Chrysalis album, which was their debut album. And IOI is a temp group... and yet they're so big (most of it because of pd101). They got diff style/aura. They are lively funny natural too..But its really if they going to continue as a band(IOI) not as their own company group/debut(not sure). Tho twice is trend of trend now. I got to agree..cuz they are really 1 of the talk/topic . N many of them are pretty, nice. They can sing n dance but not to PRO or really wow like that. N few of the members like Tzuyu nayeon are really likeable. I enjoy their music, but their music's like will be a trend but not really a great song or music. Their variety skill got to improve..maybe cuz most of them are not korean so not able to fully understand..they are still funny in their way(thats why they got the attention from fansssssss...n yeap of cuz they got the looks i mention abv.) N they are from a better more reputation company~ So for now i think its kinda hard for any girl group to 'beat/win' them . They had the right songs to chart high, that doesn't necessarily mean they're good songs. Maybe if they had better quality songs they wouldn't have charted as high.
