Is it me or something else?

It feels that no matter how hard I tried to work and get the job done. Everyone in my department just doesn't appreciate my work. I kept doing and doing and others just silently don't care and just focus on doing their work.

I just scolded by my boss today just because I tried to give explanation to a company regarding late payment. I am not good in talking here so that is why I am having a bit of trouble in explaining stuffs but it ended well because the other party finally understands. She called me to her office and scolded me for not understanding the content where I actually understand the content. My other colleague in my department is not friendly, She always speaks to me in an angry tone, no matter what.

I told my mom regarding this and she advise me to understand them, especially my boss, as they are pressure to give profits to the company. I then tried to be patient to them but it is getting out of hand, The only thing that holds me because this is the first company that I am working and I work hard to gain a bit of experience before moving on.

The employees from other departments are friendly with me and they give encouragements whenever I have done my job well. Compare to my department, who only says thanks and went on with their work.

I love being in my internship company because the employees over there give friendly vibes, speak in nice tone and gave encouragements whenever I do my job well. That is why I learn a lot over there.

I beginning to hate both of them after my boss almost refuse to sign the timesheets even when there are no mistakes because of her mood while the colleague just looks on, not helping me just because it is my job.

Because of them I have been thinking of quitting my job to start anew somewhere else.

Should I do it?

Best thing to do is look for a new job. Some place where you feel you fit in or don't have all this extrra stress. Also it would be wise to keep this job until you find a new one. You don't want to be in between jobs and when you find a new one put in a 2 weeks notice.
