I thought Lee Ye beom was going to be the standard villain but i'm pleasantly surprised. He is just a very selfish person, but he does have a conscience. I think he might get turn around in the future.

I liked the part where Jaechan quoted that police officer those words were meaningful.

such a fun episode and the awkward kiss was so cuteee

I like the transition so far between cases like I didn't expect to go from the sohyun case to the chicken guy who seemed to be normal at first to this new murder case it flows quite nicely i love it !

Anticipating learning more about Wootak's life he is indeed quite mysterious and super handsome

omg, thats one tragic way to die.

another amazing set of episodes really, agh im :rlytearpls: Jae Chan is so admirable, the way he made Hong Joo got into her damn senses back then and how it effected Hong Joo's decision to current case- just perfect. We know Woo Tak had some issues but awh it truly hurts to see his puppy face all crumbled up :( I guess the man that was drowning his father but the focus of him having no food on fridge, hm? Did he cut contact w his parents bc of what happened in the past? I hope he ain't that dumb lmao. I was hoping to see his connection to story in this set of episodes but well it can wait abit.

Seatbelt scene was hilarious lmao! Payback for leaving Hong Joo hangin like that before. Also Woo Tak ordering them around to make their burden go away; awww! I just love these three. Prosecutors' highlights were wonderful too. How Kang just denied everything then went to cry  And the way other Prosecutor just understood and gave her space. SO.CUTE!

That media manipulating scene gave me CHILLS. It's so easy to change the narrative.

Also another AWW at my feelings nothing to someone's life. Jae Chan was so cool saying he is sad he disappointed her but won't do something he doesn't believe in. That's how you love someone right man!

Anyone else think that Woo Take is gay? I thought it was weird how he and his ex room mate were acting, and then when he said he has someone that he likes but it's not Hong Joo, it just hit me that he could like Jae Chan.

Hm but the way Jae Chan said he's telling the truth; like he knew he wasn't telling the truth? Honestly I'd love it if he turns out to be gay but idk if they'd go that way.

I'll be happy with anything as long as I don't have to watch Woo Tak get his heartbroken, Hong Joo and Jae Chan are practically a couple already, so I really hope we don't get a love triangle.

I'm watching this drama right now and, believe me, it's been ""ages""" since I liked an airing korean drama so much!

I love how all the character shown are connected and somehow important to the plot; I also enjoy the fact that there is a little bit of comedy

Actor Kang Ki Young, who is better known for his comical characters in dramas such as “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo,†“W,†and “Bring It On, Ghost,†talked about playing a darker role in “While You Were Sleeping.â€

Spoiler

On October 12’s episode of “While You Were Sleeping,†Kang Ki Young’s character Kang Dae Hee was the seemingly kind owner of a chicken restaurant. However, looks were deceiving as he actually turned out to be a psychopath who killed 100 cats with potassium cyanide and murdered his own younger brother for insurance money.

When asked about how he felt playing a completely different role from his usual characters, Kang Ki Young replied, “‘While You Were Sleeping’ is a pre-production drama, so I especially looked forward to it. When this drama aired, I was also watching as a member of the audience, so I was both worried and excited. The viewers are used to seeing me as bright and energetic characters, so I was worried that I disappointed them by acting as a different kind of character. On the other hand, I was curious about their reactions at the same time.â€

Kang Ki Young also talked about the viewers’ comments. He said he sighed in relief when he saw that many people were swearing at him because it made him feel like he had acted realistically without a sense of difference. The most impressive comment he read was the one that said “goosebumps.†He explained, “That short but meaningful single word [in Korean] touched my heart [because it meant] they were immersed in the drama and Dae Hee’s character.â€

On October 15, SBS’s “While You Were Sleeping†released behind-the-scenes stills from the insurance fraud episode, featuring Kang Dae Hee (played by Kang Ki Young) and his lawyer Lee Yoo Beom (Lee Sang Yeob).

In the released stills, Lee Sang Yeob and Kang Ki Young are acting out their characters in the courtroom. While Lee Sang Yeob is pointing at the screen with a laser pointer and showcasing the role of a lawyer, Kang Ki Young is sitting in the defendant’s seat, looking into the camera with a smile.

Shin Eun Jung, who plays the role of judge Joo Young in charge of their case, is also seen wearing a solemn expression on her face.

The picture of Lee Sang Yeob and Kang Ki Young bowing at each other deeply draws laughter, which was taken after they filmed the courtroom scene. Although the viewers were enraged at their characters after the last episode, the two actors are reported to have filmed the scene in a friendly, easy atmosphere.

Another image shows Kim Da Ye who plays the role of Kang Cho Hee, the younger sister of Kang Dae Hee, smiling brightly. Kang Shin Hyo, playing the role of Gyu Won, is also seen smiling as he carries out a special event for her.

The production team of “While You Were Sleeping†thanked all the cast members for their great acting and revealed, “Kang Dae Hee’s 2.7 billion won (approximately $2 million) insurance fraud case will be wrapped up this week.â€

Spoiler

In the last episode of “While You Were Sleeping,†Lee Yoo Beom defended Kang Dae Hee’s case, pointing out a loophole in the prosecutor’s arguments. Kang Dae Hee had poisoned his brother to death before intentionally causing a car accident. The prosecution who had charged him with murder and fraud based on the car accident was forced to let him go under the judge’s declaration that he was innocent.

As tensions rise with every episode, SBS’s “While You Were Sleeping†has shared new stills of tender moment from its upcoming episodes.

In the revealed images, Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) runs into Nam Hong Joo (Suzy) while they are still on the phone with each other. His serious expression and business attire is offset by the tissue box he is holding, which appears to be for the crying Nam Hong Joo. In another photo, Nam Hong Joo resorts to using Jung Jae Chan’s tie to wipe her tears while surrounded by a pile of used tissues, as Jung Jae Chan worriedly looks on.

According to the producers, the reason Nam Hong Joo is crying in the park is related somehow to the serial killings of stray cats from last week’s episodes. A source from the drama commented, “Last week, the broadcast ended with Jung Jae Chan issuing a warrant for Kang Dae Hee [Kang Ki Young]’s arrest. Find out if he will finally be judged by the law, and exactly why Nam Hong Joo is crying [in this scene].â€

New stills have been released previewing the upcoming episode of SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “While You Were Sleeping.â€

Last week, the episode ended with Han Woo Tak (Jung Hae In) lying on the ground after being stabbed by Kang Dae Hee (Kang Ki Young), who murdered his brother to cash in on his life insurance money. Just when Kang Dae Hee found Nam Hong Joo (Suzy) and Kang Cho Hee (Kim Da Ye) hiding, Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) showed up in the nick of time with an arrest warrant.

The newly released stills show the moment Woo Tak opened his eyes while laying on his hospital bed, and the concerned faces of Jae Chan, Hong Joo, and his co-worker waiting by his bedside.

Then, the next two photos show more positive stills. Jae Chan and Woo Tak can be seen hanging out and talking amongst themselves. Jae Chan, who had been quite cold to him in the past, is smiling warmly at his friend and even embracing him in a tight hug.

A source from the drama said, “After Woo Tak was attacked by Dae Hee, Jae Chan, Hong Joo, and Woo Tak will get closer. Please look forward to watching what events will unfold because of their dreams.â€

soompi:

“While You Were Sleeping†has released a behind-the-scenes video clip of Suzy and Lee Jong Suk!

The clip begins with the scene where Suzy (playing the role of Hong Joo) is looking for Lee Jong Suk’s character Jae Chan. She hops around, peeking into the windows of the cafe looking for him. Then Lee Jong Suk walks towards her from the behind. “What’re you looking for?†he asks, surprising her. Suzy soon smiles at Lee Jong Suk, making puppy eyes with her head tilted.

As the director shouts “Cut!â€, the production staff laugh at the couple’s excessive cuteness.

After shooting the same scene once more, the clip shifts to show Lee Jong Suk and Suzy shooting a scene in freezing weather. “Actors worried about their lines because of the cold,†the caption reads.

When Suzy forgets her lines after Lee Jong Suk makes the same mistake, he jokes, “You’re under Lee Jong Suk’s curse.†He also tells her after making repeated line mistakes, “Leave me, I’m already a lost cause,†making her burst out laughing. The couple nails the scene in the end, however, with the director complimenting them as “drama masters.â€

I honestly think that Wontaks secret has to do with Suzys and Jaechans past, like what if Wontak is related to the police officer that drowned. I really want to know his secret.

Also do you guys remember Wontaks theory that if someone saved you , you would have dreams about them? If so why hasn't the girl HongJoo saved from the fire had visions yet?(Mabye it is coming up soon).

I just think Wontak, Suzy , and Jaechan are all connected together due to something that happened in the past tho.

i hope he will because Jae Chan and Hong Joo are getting more lovey dovey these days lol

and i have the same thought as well that somehow Woo Tak must have shared something with both JC and HJ in the past for their dreams to be connected like that

the police officer that young JC saved might be related to Woo Tak but i'm not gonna put high hopes because the producers and writers love to surprise us laugh.png
