They truly deserve it, not just by my opinion which obviously holds bias, but by the criteria Mnet themselves have for those categories. Voting is swell and all, and people can cry over Fandom power which has never really translated from the votes into the actual winners, but the results this year speak for themselves. Currently is almost 60% Voting doesn't represent anything, tbh, just keep fans busy and give them reasons to talk about Mama. Neither the other criterias. All is decided by mama committee and mama jury. I've been watching the last 3 editions of MAMA so is very clear to me who decide the winners. You can still win an award even if you don't have the best sales, the best research and you are last in voting. And of course MAMA will never reveal how the jury voted, how low they placed an artist so that other (clearly surpassed in all criteria) could win.
