There was a certain fandom that followed me through OH so I used to make up stuff about their bias in the bashing thread and get them banned one by one. I caught about 5 of them defending. I mean, that idol does half-asses, but using a damn rehearsal to judge? C'mon... And if you quote and say "Uh, excuse but this is from a rehearsal" you'll probably be called "delusional fan defending the fave omg I'll report ya get banned", oh please. If the Bashing Thread didn't allow too many posts about the same topic in a row and deleted posts that use false info the post count of the thread would be cut by half. Want to bash? There should be one you're allowed to spew misinformation and have no consequences it's a dumbass rule tbh, i mean yeah i know that people like to take shit out of context on the thread and what not but tbh....people do it on purpose most of the time imagine if every time someone said something incorrect or someone took something out of context someone correct them on that thread, it would pages and pages of correcting and fights and arguments coming from it. i'm not supporting the spread of misinformation and i've had to catch myself correcting sometimes, but they do that so that the sole purpose of the thread isn't overlooked. like the mods on the thread said - if you feel the need to correct someone or let them know they're misinformed, pm them. fact checking = defending, its up to the person to who made the post to educate themselves or stay ignorant for upvotes and bashing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
