xjendukiex 31 Posted November 13, 2016 Share Posted November 13, 2016 There is something really off about this drama, I watched the first two episodes and I was so bored. the scenes between the actors are really short and the chemistry isn't really there for me. I will continue to watch it just because I finished my other dramas so I don't have anything else to watch but I hope that the rest of the drama can pick up and be more exciting. warukatta 6,359 Posted November 13, 2016 Share Posted November 13, 2016 probably because the format isnt like the typical kdrama? there are lots of western elements to it... filming-wise the editing was kinda messy during the first two eps but its getting there. idk why the public doesnt appreciate this kind of format tho :/ it's just like that time when "The Producers" aired their first two eps. For those who wonder if they must whatch it or not, just try watching it until episode 4. It's not because the ratings aren't good that you won't enjoy the drama. I didn't watch that much of the original, but the remake lacks the pacing + zingers which I associate with it, and I'm not that sold on the chemistry of the characters. The writing could've been a lot better, and they have really awkward extras, lol, it's quite bothersome. It's not a trainwreck of a show exactly, but I can see why people wouldn't bother tuning in. First episode was hella boring. But now that I'm in episode 8, I'm rather invested. Some people still don't like it, but I've found that I love this show the more I watch, rather than with most k-dramas where I actually begin to hate the characters and the story-line more as it continues.
