What topics have you done for your research paper?

I'm having a hard time about finding a topic for my 1275 words research paper. I want it to be something that can be easy to write about.  Any ideas? What research essay topics have you done?

edit: it's for english class.

whats the subject bc mine are usually on film or history

What class is it for?

What's the subject

It depends on your class. Mine were always about science and to be specific in the Med field.

Last one was about Human papilloma virus.

It's for English class.

It's for English class.

Is there a specific prompt or can you just write about anything?

Historical topics tend to be the easiest. If you want a really basic and easy topic than I would suggest the causes of WW1. There's a lot of info and it's easy to organize the essay.

is there anything specific - just like regular english, or is it like some sort of literary criticism/theory or an eng class that focuses on a specific time period of literature/texts?

this is what i need to know too, i had to do a research paper for an english class but we could have done it about ANYTHING

I agree with that, but the problem is I hate history which just makes it a bit harder but maybe like social issues?

It's just regular English class. Well, the topic can be anything except the obvious sensitive issues like abortion

Not really a social issue but I once did a research paper on the affect violent video games have on children and it was pretty easy.

- affirmative action

- vaccination/anti-vaxxers

- assisted suicide

- doxxing/internet vigilantism

aw shit lmao well let me see

you could do something about voter disfranchisement/voting being difficult in the US, i wrote like 10 pages on this i think like 2 years ago. i talked about

- election day always being on a tuesday (and you can explore why, its really interesting imo)

- new voter id laws (esp in the south) + why many people don't actually have ids

- voting rights for felons

- laws varying by state like crazy and why this happens

- the supreme court dealing with the voting rights act recently
