Any good Korean or Japanese textbooks?

Korean: Integrated Korean (my current Korean class uses this)

Japanese: Genki

There are other great textbooks like Active Korean, Seoul National University's Korean 1-4, Yonsei University's Korean textbooks, and Sogang's Korean textbooks, but these textbooks aren't for self study because either there's too little explanation (Active Korean) that isn't ideal for beginners or most of the textbook is written in Korean, both of which are better for classroom use or require the aid of a Korean person, though Active Korean does have an answer key at the back of the book.

For Japanese the ones I see recommended the most: Genki, Minna no Nihongo and Japanese for Busy People. For kanji The Kodansha Kanji Learner's Dictionary and for grammar A Dictionary of Basic (+Intermediate & Advanced) Japanese Grammar.

For Korean I'm not entirely sure but the ones I see recommened the most are Integrated Korean and Talk to Me in Korean

Id say beginner... I can read in both languages and I know the basics of japanese (so maybe around intermediate?) But a complete beginner in Korean

You might be at Genki 2 level. Check the table of contents to see if you know everything. If you're already past Genki level, then Intermediate Japanese is good. There's also Minna no Nihongo. I've never used that one so can't vouch for it.

For Korean, I personally would not recommend Integrated Korean if you're self-studying. We used it in class and I remember thinking I wouldn't have fully understood some of the concepts without the teacher. Not to mention there's no answer key. I used the Beginning Korean book to self-study for a few months and was able to place into Intermediate Korean at my school so I think it's good. It can be kind of dry at times but the grammar explanations are really good and there are a lot of exercises (with answers).  The whole series is good. Use supplemental materials like Talk To Me In Korean or KoreanClass101 for listening.
