Should TTS make another album? [Long]

In SNSD Tiffany's recent interview with MNET, she stated that the TTS trio would most likely promote this year and come out with a new album.

My Opinion:

I wasn't too ecstatic when I heard about this trio the first time around, mainly because one of the main vocalists, Jessica, was not included in the sub-unit that was apparently made to show off SNSD's vocals and yet they decide not to include one of their best vocalists? It still bewilders me until today, but I guess they will include her in another sub-group where she will be much more needed. HOWEVER Taetiseo's first album was, in my opinion, one of the most meaningful albums that SNSD has come out with, given they were able to break away from their cute and bubble gum pop songs. Although I do enjoy their pop songs, the R&B feel I got from a couple of their songs were refreshing. I do not understand why sones are so opposed to this idea, I understand that they want SM to showcase other SNSD talents as well, but I dont think they should rush any projects that is probably in the works and try to utilize TTS, a group that has solidified their presence in the music scene, as much as possible while SNSD is still on top.

It wasn't exactly a rant, just a long but calm opinion about TTS's new album, I'll change the title.

the whole point of the subunits was that they would rotate and switch members in and out regularly, to compensate for each members, and allow them more screen/vocal time, and different concepts to suit certain members.

 

another Taeny+other album just makes that entire point redundant, and given the main vocals sans Sica even more screen time, pushing all the other members into irrelevancy

 

 

 

it's reeeeeeeeeeeally annoying i'm not even bothered typing using proper punctuation or anything and ugh ugfgh ugh not another TTS album pretty please

I understand where you're coming from but would you rather have another TTS album with amazing vocals and songs or a new sub-unit with mediocre songs and vocals? I'm not saying the other SNSD members are not cut out for a sub-unit, but the current tri are able to blend really well with one another and their vocals shine best when in a trio, I would rather SM focus on nurturing  other member's talent and compatibility over brashly putting together a new sub-unit with a generic pop song.

Yeah, but all this does it make TTS shine, and the other members irrelevant.

 

Also, if SM actually to put in effort into the other subunits, who says they couldn't have as good an album as twinkle? While, yes, I know a lot of the other member's vocals aren't up to scratch with the main vocalists, a dance/rap/cute subunit would still be quite successful, and give the members the attention they've desperately been begging for (aka Hyoyeon). For example, a song such as Love&Girls would go great one a nice pop album, for any subunit, given it's a good song, and doesn't really push the vocal capacities of any of the members.

 

For me it's not so much the quality of the vocals (as long as Yoona isn't in the group), but the fair amount of attention given to each members, given that they can actually provide their fans with some quality whilst performing.

Sure ! I discovered SNSD after listening TTS songs... Before the trio realeased a song, i didn't really listen SNSD but after the realease, i become more interested in SNSD career and it's a good thing !

This kind of promotion (sub-unit) is probably one of the best way found by agencies to bring fans to the main group because

- in general sub-unit's style is different from the main groupe

- members are chosen for their popularity and because they are loved by public as member of their main group

Not sure why people are against a TTS album...

The other members aren't nearly as talented tbh. Sure, Jessica and Sunny are, but the rest? LOL no.

 

I'm in it for the vocals. I would not want a Yoona + yuri + one of the better singers subunit because, well, the vocals wouldn't be up to par.

This is coming from a SNSD fan, btw. Not some random idiot trolling.

yes they are amazing!!!!!!

but i would prefer another subgroup...

though i really appreciate more exposure/experience for seohyun. girl improved so much with twinkle promotions.
