Is Korean Beauty Generational?

So as we all know, South Korea's "golden age" of beauty was in the early 2000s with visuals like Kim Tae Hee, Han Ga In, Kim Hee Sun and Song Hye Gyo taking over. But now South Koreans say there are zero actresses that come anywhere near their level. Even though casting agencies walk the streets looking for beautiful people, they still haven't managed to find someone at their tier. Why?

Does this mean Korean beauty is generational?

This is a random thought that popped up in my head.

idk I've seen them calling Kim Yoojung and Kim Sohyun the next generation of actress visuals. I hardly see them get bashed for their looks

Won Bin & Kim Tae Hee are the holy grail standard and both are natural. It's hard to find people who are naturally that goid looking, which is kinda the point of a holy grail level. It shouldn't be easy. To quote one of my favorite movies, "The hard is what makes it great."

It means it's harder to find natural looking women. I know this is a particular chore for casting historical dramas/movies, not many woman have the "traditional" Korean face structure anymore.

I mostly agree with this statement.  It's prob just a lot more of aspiring idols/actresses that all start looking like one another bc they're all surgically altering their face to attain similar types of features.  So there's just more homogeneity, and a lot more of those "gangnam unnies."  It's prob why these days I find Japanese actresses to be prettier bc at least most have their natural faces and features so their faces are unique and have more character.  I can also distinguish them.
