I always ask people, "why do you listen to kpop?" and I always get a wishy-washy answers because in the back of their heads its because they like asian guys/girls. And its even more prevalent for people that like KPop, K-dramas, and Anime. So what do you think? What makes you listen to kpop and not other country's music if its not because of the idols? It's disgusting. I would like to think and hope that most of us just found a nice niche, a personal taste in music and/ or certain individuals we fell in love with And that is something that genuinely makes us happy and we find enjoyable. I just find it interesting because all of those groups have American equivalents and Exo especially has American producers work on their stuff, so why listen to kpop when you can just listen to the music in English?
