“I think it’s important that we be open to talking about trade deals,†Trudeau — a fierce defender of free trade, which helps bolster the Canadian economy — told reporters.

“If the Americans want to talk about NAFTA, I’m more than happy to talk about it,†he said, adding that it was important to periodically reassess trade deals to ensure that they continue to be of benefit to Canadians.

Thoughts, everyone?

Well, not sure if Trump was even serious about getting rid of it tbh. He just said a bunch of crap to get elected. Whether he does any of it is tbd. Regardless, its good for political leaders to discuss things, so its a good sign.

Basically that's the only semi good thing about trump. He's a fucking liar and probably won't do 99% of the things he said he would do. He just knew the republican party were stupid enough to elect him after he lost as a Democrat in the past

That's the only thing that gives me faith that he isn't as bad as an actual republican

Canada's economy is highly dependent on resource exportation so I'm not surprised that he's trying to maintain Canada's relationship with the US

Same case with Mexico.

The Mexican government had repeatedly stated prior to the elections that they would be willing to work with whoever was the victor. Our former Secretary of Finance's gamble to invite Trump to Mexico to meet with the President before the US elections, which did take place but caused such an uproar that he had to resign, hopefully pays off. Like other users have said, I understand that Trump had to say some things about trade to appeal to the US public but I hope he surrounds himself with capable advisers who make him understand the horrible implications erecting tariffs and striking down NAFTA will have on all three countries. All three countries must cooperate and work together more now than ever. Let's all hope for the best.

It's okay democrats, you don't have to pack your bags, you don't have to hide in your safe house, the world is safe under Trump.

So Russia, Isreal, now Canada...

The world is coming together... In peace.

Egypt, the Philippines, India, and Hungary have extended an olive branch to Trump. Assad in Syria also recently said he's willing to work with Trump, especially to take out ISIS.

Like Trump or not, I think we just avoided WW3.

:imstupid:

If I really care about upvote, I'd be pretending to love crooked Hilary instead.

Upvote for you. This PC world has people afraid of offending others and by doing so, their opinions are not heard, which is probably the main reason as to why Trump won. People chose to not voice their opinion because they were afraid to offend others by voting for Trump, so they kept it to themselves until election day.

Hillary Clinton is a crook, and people who say she isn't, is either living in a bubble, or are being delusional. When there is so much evidence about her corruption, and they choose to still vote for her. I'm bewildered ... But that's ok because she won't be running the oval office, and that's what important. Hopefully, justice will punish those who break the law, regardless of their power and influence.
