Sprinkle a bit of mate, add heaps of 'yehhs', and slur it all t'gether mate.

I reckon you could do with a few servings of 'how are ya', 'catch ya later' and 'see ya in the arvo' too mate.

And don't forget to spread the aussie love to your rellos via vegemite, and stay away from the bogans!!

Keep hoppin' and salute the kangaroo, there's a good bloke (:

Use phrases like "Nah mate", "Fuck off mate", "Yeah mate"

Basically just add mate to the back of every short reply sentence.

shit isn't really even a swear word. C*nt is the only swear word in aus lol.

this is quite hard.

The first time I heard an Australian when I was a little, I thought it was similar to British accent but now I realized that there's a big difference.

After watching an Australian movie last night, I remember my parents pointed out that "Today" in Australian accent, it sounded like "To die".

They said Australia like Aw-STRAY-lee-ah i thought.

I had Australia friend, their accent make her sound like fast talker.

But cool

IKR

it's cool though ;;

If you say "Good eye might" together, you get an Australian accent: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1TQiZgp2O2V

It's not very good but it's the best I can do haha.

Actually Aussies don't use 'mate' THAT much in daily conversation.. They dont use 'Gday' that much either.

What I get a LOT in Sydney is 'Hey, how are ya goin?' or just 'How ya goin?'

But its not so much the words you use.. its the pronunciation. Go watch some vids!
