Full Tracklist Unveiled for Sailor Moon 20th Anniversary Album!

The 20th anniversary tribute album "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY MEMORIAL TRIBUTE" for Takeuchi Naoko's popular manga "Sailor Moon" will be released on January 29. The artist line-up and the full tracklist have been announced.

 

Participating artists include Horie Mitsuko, Momoiro Clover Z, Nakagawa Shoko, Goto Mariko x Avuchan (from the band Ziyoou-vachi), Tommy heavenly6 and Momoi Haruko. Furthermore, Yakushimaru Etsuko will cover the song "Otome no Policy" while a French singer Clementine will do a French cover of the song "Moonlight Densetsu". Artists such as Asakura Daisuke, Konishi Yasuharu and Teraoka Yohito will add to the stellar lineup for the tribute album as producers. 

 

The trailer as well as comments from participating artists have been released on the album's special website as well as YouTube. Fans can check out the trailer for bits of the album. Furthermore, in celebration of the album release, there will be a special invite-only concert on February 27 at Zepp Tokyo featuring Horie Mitsuko, Momoiro Clover Z and Nakagawa Shoko. It's been speculated that the plan to simulataneous release each episode on NicoNico for worldwide viewing in like 9 or 10 different languages is what's pushed back the anime, but I've never seen that confirmed anywhere.
