No, it's because he took part in the show Real Man Special forces unit, and it was a turning point for him to go trough that experience,he even said he was reluctant to leave the army. His dad used to be in the army too and it's actually a path that he wanted Tao to take if he didn't become an artist. The show is making big waves, #1 in ratings, across China and Tao often trends on weibo because of it.
