The nominations for the 86th Academy Awards have already stirred several passionate reactions, but maybe none so much as the face off between two artists who performed the very same Oscar-nominated song.

Demi Lovato and Idina Menzel have both performed versions of the Oscar-nominated tune "Let It Go" from the popular Disney film Frozen. The soundtrack is equally popular, currently occupying the top spot on the Billboard charts.

Menzel has some loyal and vocal fans who have taken to the Twittersphere to demand that the actress/singer who sang "Let It Go" in the film, and voiced the character of Snow Queen Elsa, be the one to belt out the tune on the awards show, rather than pop star Lovato, who performed a single version of the tune.

#TeamIdina has taken an early lead, since Lovato's fans haven't been quite so vocal.

So will it be Tony winner Menzel or former Disney star and "Heart Attack" singer Lovato who performs the tune, which was written by Book of Mormon scribe Bobby Lopez and his wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez, at the Oscars? Truth be told, it's possible neither one will do the honors, because there's no guarantee the song will be performed on the awards show at all (2011's winning song "Man or Muppet" was nowhere to be found). But that didn't stop the Twitterverse from adding their two cents' worth.

Eventhough both songs top Itunes/ billboard charts, which of the 2 versions was the winning song that's actually nominated by Oscar?

I know that Idina's was better, but usually the Official version was the one getting nominated, so...
