i was surprised and interested when i saw this but when i looked it up i saw that it's a french language movie about Cambodia.

As for the rest i can't say anything.  I used to be a big movie watcher but i haven't watched any in a long time.

Leo winning Oscar this year WOULD be sooo memorable and cheer-worthy but they'll probably give it to Mathew McConaughey or the '12yrs a slave' lead.

I hope Leo will win this tho, he deserve it.

i like American Hustle but 10 noms is too much. lol But it's sex and glamour and those pricks probably loved it.

and no Emma Thompson.. I'll cry... Cate Blanchett or Judi Dench better win that.

Frozen better win the animated category and BEST ORIGINAL SONG!! Let It Go is like my jam this year.

The movies this year are pretty much lackluster for me.. ugh My favorite movie this year is Frozen and Saving Mr. Banks (pls give some love to it!). lol

Blue didn't get a nom in Foreign Film? Hmm..

Best Actor: Leonardo DiCaprio doesn't deserve an Academy Award for his performance as Jordan Belfort in The Wolf of Wall Street. He's delivered stronger and more competent performances in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Departed, and Blood Diamond. Matthew McConaughey and Chiwetel Ejiofor delivered stronger performances throughout Dallas Buyers Club and 12 Years A Slave. McConaughey's performance as Ron Woodroof in Dallas Buyers Club had such depth, wit, and emotion to his performance that is undoubtedly the strongest performance of his career. Ejiofor also delivered a strong, emotional, and devastating performance throughout 12 Years a Slave that shouldn't be ignored. Leonardo DiCaprio ended up being outperformed by both McConaughey and Ejiofor.

Best Actress: Cate Blanchet arguably had the strongest performance in the category with Blue Jasmine. However, Sandra delivered a much more nuanced and challenging performance as Ryan in Gravity. Amy Adams may end up edging and winning the category with her performance Sydney in American Hustle. Best Supporting Actor: Jared Leto delivered the strongest performance in the category as Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club. Best Supporting Actress: Lupita Nyongo and Jennifer Lawrence have the category on lock. Lupita delivered a much stronger performance in 12 Years A Slave in comparison to Lawrence in American Hustle.
