Russia Possibly Hires People to be Pro-Trump Internet Trolls??

we all know there are Trump bots and the wave of illogical Trump supporters on all forms of social media has been quite odd, but perhaps this explains a fair number of them.

-- especially those trolls that speak good but not non-native sounding English but refuse to specify that they aren't American.

i always thought it was funny how this board gets ALL the pro-Trump, anti-Clinton articles with loads of comments but so many pro-Clinton, anti-Trump stories are posted with very few comments or are never posted at all.

of course, there are likely plenty of actual Trump-supporters on this board (possibly all of them, even),

but it certainly DOES make me curious~~

what do you think~~

don't speak like this for russia or any other country if the source isn't 100% confirmed, because ANY stupid person can make up a rumour(probably trolls already) and do this.

thank you~

:unimpressed:  :wth:

you should follow the links posted in the other political articles on this board sometime.

don't just follow them to the "original" twitter/social media post, but follow where those posts got their information. the real source. there was one conspiracy theory people on this forum were believing (as far as i could tell from their responses) a few weeks ago that was originally from a news website that claimed that the entire pacific ocean was dangerously contaminated from the fukushima meltdown -- a story which has been known to be false for years now.

anyway, it's fair enough i don't pass this off as real news, so i'll add a question mark and "possibly"

just to tell you one thing i know and many might not know, my mom who is russian/ukranian, has access to russian/ukranian speaking websites/forums/chatrooms and she had been talking and discussing various stuff with people about stuff like these even when the thing with ukrania and war thing happened. I am not an expert myself since i know very little information about the whole thing but i can definitely tell you from first hand that Russia is not that evil that you think they are, other countries are trying to make the country look scary just because they are a huge continent with huge power(true that, cant deny) and therefore they make up rumours to scare people and turn them against Russia.

But what can i say? Believe what you want, i told you what i had to tell you..

edit: do you know how many people would go to FAR LENGTHS in order to show a "bad" aspect of Russia?

or EVEN pretend to be Russian??? Have you ever thought of that??

i don't think russia is evil. i think they (meaning the government) are very opportunistic, and this election season has proven to be a hugely vulnerable moment for the US.

and here is some information on russia's questionable cyber activity.

and as for the recent hacks, the US government has formally accused russia of them. it's not just a DNC rumor.

It's an option. It was uncovered in the past by many Russian activists that there are headquarters of United Russia Party, the biggest political party in Russia, where people work as internet bots or paid commenters to post support for specific Russian candidates, politicians, mainly Pro-Putin work.

I don't know whether they spread into the global sphere, but at the home base there sure is such a thing.

I only see DNC trolls on OH, repeating the exact lines given to CNN/ABC/NBC/CBS for their broadcasts.  These seminar posters have been sent to off-topic sites all over the Internet, starting with the Obama campaign in 2008.

Most of the Trump posters are just kids reposting Internet articles, without the message discipline that indicates a paid troll is behind it.

And the Clintons trying to blame Russia for their lack of online popularity is the height of arrogance and stupidity. They are yesterday's politicians, and have nothing to offer Millennials but vague promises of student loan forgiveness. It's no wonder Hillary hasn't achieved any traction among young voters.
