avarice 4,219 Posted October 31, 2016 Share Posted October 31, 2016 psa that noone cares about a couple of hours ago while I was lazing in bed on my phone as usual and preparing to write a hateful post about some random group I don't even know that much about, I had a random epiphany and stopped to think. why am I doing this, I thought? is there any kind of good that can come out of putting energy into taking someone down just to feel better about my own tastes? is it fair to judge some hardworking people or groups solely on the acts of some fans who aren't even the majority of their fanbase (which I do a lot) ? is this even fun? unsurprisingly, the answer to all of the above was no. so then I thought, why do it anymore? soo, tldr I'm renouncing the bashing thread. tbh I've always had these thoughts in the back of my head but I never paid them any attention cuz I didn't wanna admit that I was being a bitch for no reason. I dont regret hanging around it for some of the more iconic bashes, but at the end of the day I'm wasting a lot of energy on something counterproductive and dumb. from now on I'll be supporting *all* groups cuz in the end nobody deserves hate for doing their best to have a good career. so look forward to seeing me praise your faves in the official threads~ this is owed partially to the fact that I've bashed exo soooooo many times in the past yet the cbx debut slayed me off my feet. I've been thinking about the way I act recently, and I've been making an effort to be less gossipy about drama or making bashing posts. A few days ago I unfollowed the Bashing thread because well it wasn't for me anymore. It was the same old same old, the posts in there get quite repetitive, and you'll notice that it's always the same people there posting all the time. I saw your posts there a lot, too.
