GlenCoco 303 Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but i'm kinda getting into SJ they are pretty cool, but i read they are on a hiatus because many members are doing their military service or something like that so they will return untill 2018 the question is are all korean male obligated to do it or is it all voluntary? and why do they do it if it's voluntary? are any solo plans for the ones who are not doing it or are going to finish? sorry for the stupid questions but i'm just curious Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

With celebrities it's different because they will try to maximize the focus on their careers while they're young, that's why they wait until the last minute. The older members enlist first and so on, so Leeteuk Kangin Heechul Yesung have already finished their service. Sungmin and Shindong are almost done they come back in december. So half the group is basically done. Siwon Eunhyuk Donghae come back in september next year. Ryeowook just started his service recently, and Kyuhyun the youngest is gonna go enlist at some point next year. About the hiatus, the group is officially inactive, but the individual activities of the members who aren't currestly serving continue normally Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
