My mom gives me money frequently for school and my friends and classmates don't get money as much as I do. I remember lending one friend a dollar and now I have people constantly asking me for money and I'm afraid to say no. Some people literally just come and sit next to me to just ask me for some money. It's been similar to this sense middle school but even during middle school I didn't lend out that much. Sometimes I did to boys because I thought maybe if I gave them money they would like me back. Out of all the money I've lended from August to now I've been paid back once. It took her a month to give me $3 and only because I kept reminding her and prohibited lending her more before she paid me back. I've even lended quarters to random people I didn't know. nicophos 1,660 Posted October 29, 2016 Share Posted October 29, 2016 i was once you, but i only 'shared' money to people i got close with. i had this naive thinking that since were close, well share our resources together... because im just too idealistic. it ended with these people taking advantage of my thinking. i suffered so much in the end, borrowing money from others so i can provide if my 'close friends' asked. i am happy to have paid those debts, and to just simply put a wall to those people i once called 'close friends'.
