kyaaaaaa, the first volume will be out in English on November 14th, and it's going to be published by Kodansha USA (thank god it's not Tokyopop)! I just pre-ordered my copy

Seeing CCS animated again is really...strange. Not a bad strange. Just makes me nostalgic. The animation looks so smooth and HQ and dreamlike. So beautiful.

the new PV is for the upcoming Clear Card arc. I think they're trying to tie up some stuff between the anime and manga since in the anime Sakura never gave her bear to Syaoran, so they're probably trying to fix that since in the Clear Card arc they exchange bears at the beginning.

it's supposed to be a "remake" of the last episode of the original CCS anime so that it matches the manga ending so that the beginning of the Clear Card anime makes sense.

apparently Syaoran can sense that Yuna, Akiho's butler, possesses magic, but because Sakura can't sense it (or isn't aware that her way of detecting moon magic is by having a hanyan feeling), he suspects that Yuna has moon magic. And Eriol says the D in Yuna D Kaito's name indicates he's from a congregation of magicians in England and that not all rumors about them are good...Syaoran also notes that he doesnt sense any magic from Akiho either so for now it's only her caretaker who possesses magical abilities.

also sakura goes into a magical trance that makes her act very ooc. like she basically just shoved her bags into yue's face without a word before releasing the dream staff and sealing the card.

Finished reading the 1st volume a few weeks ago, gosh it felt good to come back to this universe. The art style being exactly the same, everything felt like a wholesome Proust Madeleine, to be honest. I can't wait to see where they're going with this one, although I feel like I can already write out some parts of the story, so I kinda wish to be wronged and surprised!
