Hmm.. i think that's a bout it that we know.. but i remember there's one interview where someone said that Jinyoung, and also Yugie lately, has been actively helping in most of their dance. Like Jinyoung and Yugie are always being sought for their input or sth along that line.. Proud just so proud of him and the boys Yeap I read.. Seriously all this while, I was always hoping for Coco to love Nyoung so Nyoung won't get hurt by the lil puppy rejection... Hahahhaa.. But apparently it is Nyoung who didn;t like Coco.. hahhahaa....     and yeah considering Nyoung.. Hello fellow junior stans.im new to this forum n i have already introduced myself in the got7 thread so now i have come to my nyoung thread.

from the moment i loved kpop i had a single male ultimate bias cn blue yonghwa from 2010 to 2015. recently jinyoung has also become my ultimate bias.His aura is ethereal n full of charms.i had known both jb and jinyoung since dream high 2.i thought he was cute and jb was handsome but i was not interested in them.then during just right era i was captivated by him.after that i began wathing all his videos n regret not seeing the light.now that i see the dream high videos he is insanely handsome and cute.and he is so talented whether it be in singing,dancing.acting etc.And recently he is shining like an angel.

and i wish all his dreams come true n jyp please promote him more n put him in good public broadcast drama.i see so much potential in him dont let his talent go wasted...

I totally agree with this!! If JYP promotes him right, not just popular in GOT7.. he may even become Suzy level.

I think JYP needs to give him time to get casted in another drama before the year ends or in the first half of next year..

he needs to also be the lead and have a love interest that is around his age..

(I liked MLE but it was a bit weird that Jinyoung was 20 and Lee Ja-in is only 11).

And doing Dream Knight 2 doesn't count.. he will not be seen as a respected actor by doing Dream Knight.

I don't understand why JYP isn't more active about this?

Jinyoung has the handsome actor looks, is a great actor actor (not idol actor) & is interested in doing more acting?

I love Junior's acting, but the answer is really simple if you think of it.  And it's because JYPE needs another 2PM not another Suzy.  They're trying heavily to promote Got7 so by the end of the next year when their biggest money makers leave for the military, they won't suffer a significant loss.  With how often Got7 promotes it's not ideal for Junior to be the lead in a drama, it's tiring strenuous and well not ideal for someone with a busy schedule at all.  And well it's better for Junior if he works his way up than getting a lead now.

You make some good points, however I don't think it's that simple. JYP needs another 2PM and not Suzy, but by doing more acting it helps GOT7 get more Korean public recognition which they are lacking. After doing MLE a lot of article comments were saying they had no idea that Junior was an idol and didn't know of GOT7. Jackson does do a lot of variety, however the people who watch variety and the people who watch dramas/movies do not always overlap. I agree right now GOT7 promotes overseas too much so being a lead will be way to tiring for Junior, but personally I think then JYP should cut this down and let them stay in Korea more if he is serious about them becoming 2PM 2.0. They have already established a pretty big fan base overseas and imo should also focus a bit more on their Korean fan base. They can continue doing online shows for their overseas fan base as well as stay in Korea to do other projects. By looking at the recent scores of music shows they are lacking in areas only a Korean fan base can help with to allow them to win more firsts. If their schedules are mostly within Korea then I think it's manageable to act since a lot of idol actors from more popular groups than GOT7 are leads in dramas. A lot of idol actors debut in a lead role so I don't agree with that Junior shouldn't get a lead now. He already did Dream High 2 which was less than a supporting role and MLE which was somewhat a supporting role and did better than most idol actors in their lead roles.

 

Sorry my thoughts are a bit jumbled so this paragraph is a bit all over the place

 

As much as acting is a good way to promote, acting will promote the individual more than the group.  Look at Suzy, UEE and the Z:ea members.   Variety is a much better way to promote a group, but that doesn't always work out well if you look at Kwanghee and Kangnam.  The best way to promote Got7 is together, as a group, rather than letting each individual member do their own thing.  And 2PM's main pull of money is still in Japan.  If it wasn't for their success in Japan, JYPE wouldn't have given 2PM such horrible Korean promotions. And also promotion schedules should never clash with filming schedules ever.  Korea has a horrible filming system where most of the actors are only getting a few hours of sleep each day, sometimes not even meeting the bare minimum.

Just because he has done better than most idols doesn't necessarily mean that he should be taking the lead just yet.  If anything they should give him a proper supporting role and then after that a second lead, before they get him a lead role.  I just want him to be able to prove to everyone he is more than deserving of that lead and that everyone will accept that he definitely is as well.

Guys I think I agree with Alisonn to make it easier cause tbh I don’t mind the current winner except the colour that I wish can be better and I do like the specific one i suggested a tad more than the current winning badge. but If you guys think that one is worse than the current winner I think better not suggest it. If a few other Jinyoung badge holders like it and want me to suggest it than I will. Cause if i suggest and many holders don’t like and it win because of other voters who are not badge holders it’ll be pointless.
