still not sure why out of all the good korean dramas out there, china has decided to spend so much on the rights to produce this cliched (and boring) drama. but anyway....

 

Taiwanese idol Prince recently uploaded a photo of the script of upcoming Chinese drama Millionaire Inheritors(tentative title), a remake of popular Korean series The Heirs, on Facebook.

The post read: “If I take up this drama, I would be so pressurised.â€

In a separate microblog entry afterward, the JPM member commented on the immense popularity of The Heirs â€“ which has earned the likes of many artistes including Taiwanese pop diva Jolin Tsai – and asked the fans for their opinion on the role that he should play.

Prince also hinted at his desire to act as the main male lead, Kim Tan (played by Lee Min Ho), by writing the character’s classic line: “Like me from now on, with your heart if possible, because I have fallen for you.â€

Responding to the reports, Prince’s manager said that though the actor-singer did receive the script, some details have yet to be confirmed.

the drama did well there. lee minho is like china's adopted son. a lot of chinese love him and his dramas.

they also like park shin hye.

I think it's pretty clear why they chose Heirs. Korean dramas are watched all over East Asia, and the big names & expensive sets brought the drama's popularity to a point where its title is very familiar. In cases like these, you see many remakes because other industries want to carry this title in order to generate interest for the drama.

I don't know how tall Prince is, but he and Chinese Choi Young Do better measure up to Lee Min Ho's and Kim Woo Bin's heights.

This crappy drama is remade into Chinese ver

Who knows maybe the ones who act as Kim Tan and Eun Sang in this ver will be able to work out more chemistry between them than Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye who have almost zero chemistry.
