People always say Kpop is declining in quality of music but that's only because people tend to stay in their lane and are afraid to stray off their path. Only thing declining in quality would be their biases' music tbh

 

Ailee's album is f***ing GOLD!!! Bringing R&B back like it never went out of style. This is by far her best album to date. I love seeing true artists grow as individual, not only with how they present themselves as a person but also through their music.

Same recent consistent in quality for BTS too! I love that the intro has a sort of Tarantino feel to it and greatly sets off the mood for the entire album. I never really liked BTS' earlier music, but since early last year their music have just kept on evolving and improving so much.

I mean Ailee's albums always fuckin slays so. Duh.

 

(my biased opinion says With Love, J was one of the best albums of this year though but I can't deny there's been some absolutely fantastic releases in 2016)

Tho it seems the reception has been lukewarm for her recent efforts

Idk about the charts tho cus I don't follow up with that

Ailee is too under appreciated...even with a lot of casual kpop fans

 

With Jessica's album..I've never listened to it, but her title track just wasn't my cup of tea

That's why I said Jessica's album is one of the best in my biased opinion. I'm prone to love anything she releases haha. But I get why people wouldn't enjoy it. Fly wasn't the best track from the album though. You should try listening to it and see if some of the B tracks strike your fancy :D
