I mean a legit opinion by somebody, whether in a magazine interview or in a blogpost, or comment. It can be by idol, industry person or fan.

I once remember someone trying to say that Visual Kei was the inspiration for Glam Rock, instead of the other way round, while trying to draw in Meiji era.

In general I think it's ridiculous whenever someone comments on kpop videos saying they don't understand why people like it because they don't understand the language. It's just music bruh. Idc if I don't understand what they're singing, I just love the tunes anyway. Music is music.

Was talking to a couple friends around with gangnam style was big. They wondered, in a serious manner so they weren't trolling or anything, how Psy got out of north Korea to be able to sing. The genuinely thought he was north Korean  ......well after initially assuming he was Japanese at first, like most people did lol

Music is universal.

Reminds me of a friend who always asking me how can I enjoy K-Pop or J-Pop if I don't understand the language

And there's someone who I find rude because he said that K-Pop is music with 'alien language' which I find rude.

Exactly.

I don't understand how some people think music without english lyrics isn't music. It just doesn't make sense.
