DBSK as in the current 2VXQ? or DB5K?

 

db5k vs shinee? Hard to say. Cause they both have different strength.

-db5k was good at harmonization (and accapellas) while shinee has good stamina- can sing and perform nicely while dancing.

group vocals/harmonization goes to db5k

dancing/performing-singing goes to shinee

 

2vxq vs shinee?

Overall- shinee

Well tbh,  Yunho wasn't that good of singer either

They weren't really when they debuted, but they more or less are now imo. I feel like DB5K had more stage presence, but technically speaking SHINee is really spot on. It's impressive.

I've never really followed DBSK, but the consensus seems to be that they are gods on stage. So, my question for yall... is above.

 

I'm just curious, no malicious intentions.

I agree with this

 

Nothing comes close to DB5K

 

But SHINee have matured a lot over the years and have become really great performers, they have some of the best stage presence.

 

So I guess if the question is the two member DB2K vs SHINee, I'll pick SHINee.

Mhm that's what I thought when I watched a few performances. SHINee has stage presence but DBSK is just engaging in a different way...

Well Minho's been doing well, he isn't a great singer but for what he's given he pulls it off. I think that's what really matters.

But let me just add that current Tvxq is still a great and the best performing group in SM (although obviously vocal wise they are not as great as they were once were with the absence of Junsu and Jaejoong and the "rapping" of Yoochun).

 

Both groups are amazing though.

shinee are very talented and very polished performers, more than dbsk when it comes to dancing, but they dont have the charisma dbsk do imo. judging from the times i've seen them live, they need more experience and confidence to match dbsk's presence. honestly shinee always impress me when i watch them on youtube but ive been a little underwhelmed the times i've seen them, once in 2011 and twice in 2013

 

also sorry but dbsk now are better performers overall than db5k were so idk why people would think shinee werent as good as them then but are better now. dbsk might not focus on ballads anymore but they have much better energy and stage presence than db5k did. they dont have any lazy members bringing them down, they have more difficult choreo, they themselves have fixed their weaknesses etc.

yes minho has his strengths but i'm just saying hes the weakest vocally in shinee and when you compare that to dbsk, imo shinee falls short. ik singing is not all that counts in a great performance but for me it weighs a lot

Minho  is comparable to Yunho back then.

 

Yunho was weak vocally as well. He wasn't good unlike the rest of his group either..
