So KARA is a trio now? Honestly, I would have preferred if Goo Hara had left instead of Nicole; the original three are the strongest members in terms of talent and would know how to keep the name KARA going (Especially with the sudden change in their music styles, more fem-me fatal as of late).

I also feel bad for the fanbase, the company (since KARA was the money maker) and the girls. They were one of those groups that individually will fall short of success but together can slap it, punch it and own it, you know? Ji Young is going back to school I heard, so she's probably going to give the idol world a rest but she's not going to make a splash in her career when she comes back. She was an amateur actress and her a decent singer, nothing strong enough to give her a good career, and will forever be "Former KARA member" to be relevant. Gyuri was the only member I could see becoming fruitful, best actress in her group and a good singer.

 

Have no idea what's in store for KARA... Japan was making a big fuss that they would not accept them with member changes (which is complete bullshit because like almost all the idol girl groups over there have that shit system "graduation", so people leave like every year) and their popularity in Korea is NOT what it used to be in 09-10.

I would've said 3rd tier was a bit low, more like 2nd, but given that post-Kara the active roster is Rainbow, AJax, and Puretty, it's basically true. >.>

Well, you have no idea how much crossover there is between Japanese Kamillias and fans of Morning Musume/- - - 48.  And there are plenty of groups that don't change members, too.  J-Kamillias could very well be sincere.

This is it, with Nicole and Jiyoung gone, KARA is officially over. First WG, now KARA, its really a sad time in K-Pop for people like me who got into K-Pop when these groups were in their prime.
