They keep pumping out groups now more than ever. Its beyond artificial, people now care about quantity more than quality. And its now a competition. People are going through anorexia and bulimia and we won't even know just to please the viewers. Getting bullied and getting hate comments for their faces and their natural bodies rather than people paying attention to the music they put out... so the industry adapted to this and trains more visual trainees than before. K-Pop is actually on a decline... quality of music just keeps getting worse and worse while the untalented visuals are the majority of the members in the group and the people who can sing , dance, etc are being put on the backburner... tragic really Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

People have superficial outlooks because of the influence of the entertainment industry, so of course Kpop and other areas will cater to their superficiality. Quit acting like you've never cared about looks or that you got into Kpop solely on their vocal/dance talent. It's superficial from fans' side, stanning idol itself is already smt superficial, not from the idols' side. They work their ass off to climb up success, just as hard (or I think much harder) than normal employees like us. There are disciplines, exhaustion, getting bored with the job, disappointment like any other work.
