I just got an email saying that I got through the first round of admission for medicine at this uni, and this was all based off of this test that sort of tested your IQ/EQ. So not really academically based.

I'm certain that my academic scores are terrible, so I don't think I'll even get through the final round so I don't even know if I should try, and there's this interview portion which I'm gonna screw up entirely. What should I do???? I haven't done any volunteering, I quit all extra curricular activities to 'focus on my studies' (mainly cause I wasn't good at any of them) and I'm not particularly passionate in anything and I just wanna crawl into a hole.

This particular interview is made up of mini-interviews where they put you in different scenarios to see how you perform and I'm just this awkward mess who really wants to be a doctor but has absolutely nothing to back me up. I don't even know how to interact with people and I just feel scared

Idk, that email should have made me excited but i'm honestly just want to cry because I'm not good enough for this T-T

This is a big opportunity, I would say to just try and go ahead with the process. Also, make sure to study and practice as much before the next stage.

I would say to practice interviews with someone, write notes down on flash cards, and also talk to a careers adviser if you have one available to you.

In the end, even if you don't get in, at least you can tell yourself you tried, and you can learn from it, and put use what you learned into something else you may want to get into in the future.

You passed the first stage. Have faith in yourself! And good luck OP!

go for it! you'll never know if you don't try and i think you're gonna regret it. even if it all goes to hell, you still gain valuable experience.

You should try to prepare for the interview and give it a go. The worst thing that could happen is you'll gain experience for future interviews. Good luck!

I'm just worried because I've never really done well in a public scenario and I don't wish to disappoint the people around me again so I just feel scared I'm gonna bomb this. But I'll try to be a bit more confident in myself  :rlytearpls:
