Chief Keef threatens Katy Perry for dissing his song

Katy Perry ignited a feud with rapper Chief Keef by dissing one of his songs via Twitter this week.

She said that his tune, "Hate Being Sober," gave her "serious doubt for the world," but it's his response to her comment that really has us doubting for the fate of humanity.

When the 17-year-old Chicago rapper caught wind of Perry's comment, he responded with lewd comments and threatened to assault her, tweeting that he'd "Smack the s--t out her." He also implied that he was going to go into the studio to write a song about the pop star.

He also offered a graphic description of a sexual act he wanted Perry to perform on him.

The "Firework" singer apparently didn't even know it was Chief Keef's song when she originally made the comment about "Hate Being Sober." Not wanting to add fuel to the fire, Perry offered an apology.

"Mr. Keef! I'm sorry if I offended you. I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular. Actually..."

It's hard to know whether that appeased Chief Keef, but he retweeted her apology and quickly moved on to other topics, such as profanity-laden rants about wanting to have sex with Reggie Bush's baby mama. Classy.

He's seventeen and rapping about how he hates being sober? And he's threatening physical assault on someone?
The parenting shines through. I don't think Katy has the right to judge anyone elses music, but he didn't have to come at her like that. Maybe he needs to take a timeout until he can roll with the punches because obviously, he cannot. Katy may have backed down easily, which is sad because that only makes him feel stronger in the situation, but not everyone will.
