ezzie96 315 Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 So for me the ranking would be: SHINee=SNSD > TVXQ > SJ > f(x)/Exo I would have put SHINee first however i would have personally preferred Onew to start the song since i reckon Taemin still needs a teeny bit more polishing on his lower register..besides that i think they sounded great SNSD sounds really crisp, clear and good here TVXQ strained a bit imo but otherwise they were alrite SJ sounded a bit underwhelming..I didn't really like the line distribution f(x)/Exo...where's f(x)? Because I really appreciate the numbers of vocals involving in this song in SJ and SNSD's case. But I think Shinee> SJ> snsd=tvxq>> f(x)+exo Shinee is good overall so 1st place. And the last part is the highlight of the song tbh. SJ outdid other groups with this. in snsd's case there is a loud backtrack going on at the end (taeyeon part) and I don't like it , anyone can explain about the audio? About tvxq, this is not the best performance of this song. f(x) and exo no need to say, the song is mess.... P/s : I wonder why is it so hard to find a full video of other groups regarding this song. In ballad, the first line and the last part are usually the highlight. The ending part by Jonghyun wasnt as overwhelming as Kyuhyun but still better than SNSD SJ : shaky notes from some of non vocal line members in verse ( Siwon almost did a good job if not for his slightly flat notes ) while main vocalist practically slayed ( Kyuhyun's part was good, he closed the song magnificently ) SNSD : I like how all of them sounded relaxed and Taeyeon's first mistake was so cute yet so professionally handled, there were some shaky notes too, this song is quite hard to sing and non vocal members are bound to have difficulties esp in big groups like SJ and SNSD. The last part ( climax ) was the weakest compared to SJ and Shinee based on all of that above, I put 3 of them in equal level. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
