They, especially my dad, had to go through so much to come to America because they wanted their future children (me and my siblings) to have a good life. So every time I'm feeling lazy I think about how easy I have it and how much my dad has worked for me which gets me motivated. I know this doesn't apply to most but I think it's important to look at the bigger picture than just being focused on the assignment at hand. Ideally one should not be trying to study and learn everything a few days after taking an exam and has to already know must off their stuff by then.
