How do you stay motivated to study?

I have long been interested in the topic of motivation and have done everything from reading scientific literature to watching videos of those fancy-looking YouTubers. I want to know the practical things you guys do (or know of) to stay motivated in school. Please share!

i think about how i want to become a doctor in the future and keep that vision in my mind all the time

i think about my parents, and how proud i want them to be of me and how much my mum and dad go through on a daily basis just to give me an education

i also enjoy studying in general so it doesn't take much to get me to study because i study almost 24/7

Well personally the thing that keeps me motivated are my parents. They, especially my dad, had to go through so much to come to America because they wanted their future children (me and my siblings) to have a good life. So every time I'm feeling lazy I think about how easy I have it and how much my dad has worked for me which gets me motivated.

I know this doesn't apply to most but I think it's important to look at the bigger picture than just being focused on the assignment at hand.

Idk, then you have to fight the urge to drop out lol

never. i mean i guess it depends on ur personality. im quite type a, so i want to be the best. i graduated with honors. but its not like I forced myself to study. you just have to get in the right mind set.

I hope your parents, especially your dad, knows how great of a child you are! They must be proud of you :rlytearpls: And this is definitely a strong motivation, thanks for sharing!

Just have big Idols. not the kpoop ones lol If you want to achieve something great, you've got to look up to those who made something great too.

+ Thinking of my future family helps

+ Thinking of the struggles of my family

+ Studying what you like helps alot

+ all my bias in Kpoop help <333 idk how, but I like to think they do

Right, I see your point. Thanks for sharing! Financial independence is also my main motivation right now actually  :rlytearpls:

The necessity should be the best motivator, otherwise I'm not very good at motivating myself and get bored even after half an hour or so.

Ideally one should not be trying to study and learn everything a few days after taking an exam and has to already know must off their stuff by then.
