Do I need cleansing oil?

I read up about steps of korean skincare routines and apparently they do double cleanse, which is cleansing oil > cleansing foam.

But I don't wear makeup to work and all day I am in office and my car since my office is near my workplace.

I read about cleansing oil that it usually removes heavy makeup and dirts

So do I need really need it?

No, not really. It'll actually make your skin more dry if you double clean w/ no makeup or sunscreen on.

I only double clean when I have makeup or sunscreen, just to make sure that everything is removed.

Cleansing foam is enough and make sure to follow up with a good toner if the cleansing foam's ph is too high!

I use it on days i don't wear makeup either and it has done wonders for me. I find that it really helps with my pimples so much more. Double cleansing is the way to go. I can't believe I haven't done it in the past. I have dry combo skin that's more dry in the winter. You honestly feel a huge difference.

but everyone's skin is different.

I double cleanse on most days because I like to wear sunscreen when I'm going out. I feel like double cleansing makes my skin feel a lot cleaner but it can be drying sometimes. But still, I like the clean feeling of using cleansing oil. Sometimes, you can literally feel it unclogging your pores which is pretty awesome.

i have used Shu Uemura cleansing oil in the past and i used it as a regular cleanser. it's not just makeup remover but can double as regular cleanser too. i have read some ppl still need regular cleanser after it but i dont, it cleanse really well and didnt make my skin dry at all. imo it's the best face cleanser i've ever used. but i never buy it again cos it's expensive and imo you dont need expensive cleanser.

so if you really want to try oil cleanser and dont want to double cleanse i suggest you try the shu uemura one. i used the green one tho...

Usually for cleansers, I use various foam cleansers from The Face Shop
