It depends on how your mom usually reacts to stuff like these. Did you fail any subjects before? How did she react? Do you think she'll react differently because she's a chemist? I honestly think she'll get upset because you failed a subject, and not just because she's a chemist. Why did you fail? Was the exam hard? Was your teacher an ass? hummingmint 644 Posted October 21, 2016 Share Posted October 21, 2016 i'm sorry about that, but things happen! it's impossible to be absolutely perfect at every single class and it's acceptable for you to fail one class. i'm currently taking AP chemistry and so far it's the hardest class i've ever been in. i honestly suggest to be honest. if you try to explain to her that you were struggling in the class or had a bad professor, she should be rational and understanding about it. remind her that her reputation is not the most important thing in the world and that she should help you out if she cares so much about it. i hope everything goes well for you! good luck!
