A group/idol you gave up on for reasons other than the music?

Is there a group or singer whose music you loved/liked but found yourself unable to become a fan because of some issue with their politics or image or management etc. which repulsed you?

 

For eg. I can't take people like Selena Gomez who have made a costume out of Desi socio-religious art and symbols. And then there are people like Azealia Banks who spouts stuff that would fit Mel Gibson's lips. Then I found out that 'Hey Jude' was written by Paul for Jules Lennon and my view of Imagine has been forever soured.

Me too. When Exo debuted, I even started to get motivated learning Chinese again, but those members left and they started to have less and less Chinese promo, so I just listen to them casually now.

 

There was a time I liked Cross Gene so much, but I dropped them because of lack of materials.

 

BTOB, I like them but I could not find good translation accounts for them, so I gave up.

 

SHINee, because in 2013 I got into gaming and anime so I kinda forgot them for a while. All of a sudden it is difficult to start stanning them again, but I am still trying to keep myself up-to-date with latest SHINee news at least
