A few days ago I started to eat less and healthier because I'm overweighted (trust me, it wasn't my intention to eat that little), but I'm not hungry anymore. It's very weird for me because I'm 24/7 hungry usually, but now I can't eat anything. I ate something 12 hours ago and only drank water and coffee since then. I know it sounds unhealthy af, but I don't feel weak at all. Shall I be worried?

You started your diet a couple of days ago?

This will happen. You'll eat less on your own and you won't get hungry that much. But 12 hours without anything and only water and coffee isn't good, better to go grab something to eat. An apple or anything.

If you want to eat less eat something little atleast every 2 hours

Eat pasta or salad to make the food last longer.

I think so too, maybe it will be normal after a few days. but i will have dinner soon, don't worry :)

Eating less is not a healthy way to lose weight, I'm not a dietitian or have any interest in healthy eating whatsoever but I don't think what you're doing is safe

idk. i just couldn't eat but i will try to force myself to eat something if i'm not hungry tomorrow.

 

Maybe your body is trying to adjust try to do as much research as possible tho

i think so too. i hope i will be hungry tomorrow

yeah i didn't eat at school or home it's almost been 2 days lol but don't worry i drink tea alot and juice  :derp: now im hungry for real also i have done experiment on myself 3 days no food but i failed max i can go is 45 hours :donthinkso:

It happened to me every time when I was starting my diet :/

 

You just feel very motivated at the beginning; plus it is really easy to forget how important the regular, healthy meals are when you realise that at the very beginning your body can actually function without them (still has some energy to consume).

 

Unfortunately, this is not healthy nor effective.

 

Your body would finally send signals to the brain that it needs supplies, especially carbs, and then You will probably feed it quickly with some shit or start binge-eating. The second scenario is that it never happens and You'd be starving yourself, which usually leads to an eating disorder or a yoyo-effect.

 

I have been through this countless times. Please, be careful and when you finally feel hungry, jut feed yourself with some healthy stuff and start to eat regulaly again. You can treat  today as a detox day.

I think you'll be fine as long as you eat periodically. It's probably not the best way to try and lose weight tho because if you eat a lot less then you did previously all of the sudden your body would react by storing more fat so you can potentially gain more weight.

 

I think you should be careful tho, eat healthily and don't starve yourself!

It depends on a lot of things, like how overweight you are to begin with (if you really are) and how much activity you have during the day. Also drinking water and coffee isn't a healthy diet and it could even the coffee what inhibits your hunger so try to eat at least a fruit or something because having an empty stomach so much time (even if you're not hungry) can cause some other issues. So if you eat less is fine but try to distribute more your intake in order to not be eating every 12 hours.

Not eating in 12 hour isn't a healthy habit. Coffee and empty stomach isn't a good combination, it could give you stomachache especially with acid in your empty stomach and also acid in coffee.

 

You may feel fine for now but it'll catch up to you soon enough. Your metabolism will drop and making it more difficult to lose weight. Even if you don't feel that hungry, try to eat a little periodically so that your body will have something to process and prevent your metabolism from dropping.
