Props to the casting director. I can't seem to watch the drama if different actors were in it.

 

 

Thank God the original actor who payed Kim Hyung couldn't take the role. I can't see who suit as Kim Hyung other than KDY with his beautiful mane of glory.

Huh?! Kwak Do Yeon is the first choice for Kim Hyung role. He was casted at the same time as Chae Soo Bin. I think you got it wrong it was Yoonsung role that was originally offered to Sungjae way back March 2016. He was offered the role around the same time as Park Bo Gum (the 2 was the very first actors they casted) even before Yoojung got the female lead offer but he turn it down around May and that is how it went to Jinyoung. Jinyoung was actually the last one who was casted among the 5 leads. I was following this drama from the start even going on Naver every now and then so I remember.

I agree about Jinyoung but Do Yeon wasn't the first choice. He was cast after the original actor has another schedule. People talk about this on Soompi & there's a source as well. I forgot the actor's name but I heard he's in the same agency as Bogum too. I followed MBDC news from the beginning as well & up until now. I guess the withdrawal syndrome hit me
