Disclaimer: I didnt choose Growl because I thought it was be unfair to pit an mv thats completely focused on high level of choreography through the whole video against one that is not. Mama and Hyde have more or less the same amount of distributed dancing.

Also, I couldnt find a dance mv that measured up to the standards Growl set. If you do, let me know. 

 

The topic is to compensate for not getting proper answers in my second to last thread.

I love both choreos SO much.... but Hyde stands out a little more to me. It's almost like a drama, VIXX often has very theatrical choreography (which I like) and this dance conveys the Jekyll/Hyde concept and the story of the song really well.

 

It might be fave boy group dance of 2013 actually. (Mama is easily my fave 2012 choreo though)

Ok this is quite difficult tbh...
Hyde's choreo is definitely more theatrical and relateable to what the song is trying to convey however its not as memorable (it lacks a signature move/s). Whereas Exo's Mama choreo is not as theatrical nor creative as Vixx's however it stands out more because its relatively more memorable (i.e. that lip rub move). 
So yeah, they both have their pros and cons but i think i will go with Vixx's mainly because i think it accentuates the song

Edit: I think i should also add another pro in that Exo's choreo is quite unique

Hyde. I actually think History is better than both.

Errr. I did take a look at History but the point was to find two groups which had great choreographies at debatably the same level. That makes it difficult to choose between the two in a poll.

 Choosing History would have defeated the purpose just like choosing Growl would have. Btw, I was only impressed by this: 

 

Didnt find anything else equally as impressive from History. 

Maybe Growl vs Tell Me Love are a better comparison.

Yay~ Im happy because I made it that way. Point accomplished.  Though I must say I am surprised at the results so far. Contrary to my prediction, Hyde is leading. From the responses so far, I can see why.

Good because on top of the terrible song, I hated the breaks in between the dancing in Tell Me Love. That took away from the choreography being memorable. Now that I think about it, no way in hell would that compare to Growl.  -_-

Hyde! You should watch some of their perfs where half of them wear black and half of them wear white, then it's easier to see how brilliant this choreo is and how it really tells the story of the song too. Choreo completes the song.

 

I like Mama too really much.

MAMA. Something about the dance just made them look so cool and...hot? I don't know. The dance is very unique, and it's actually kind of weird if you think about it. The little hop thing just makes it so...hot (my vocab is not vast sorry), and the arm-pulling thing is just so...you know. Uniquely attractive. Very extraterrestrial, which is exactly what they and the song are supposed to portray. 

 

HYDE isn't bad too, it's cool actually, but I just don't feel that...you know, feeling, coming from it like MAMA did. I'm not being biased here, because I started liking Exo because of MAMA, not because of the other songs (since they came after). And MAMA really is amazing, for some reason I can't explain. You know?
