Did/will you use the time measurement as the excuse for not break-up

For example, you think that actually your relationship is not healthy for whatever reason (you don't love him/her anymore, he/she is abusive, different vision) but you have been in a long time relationship, let say for at least 3 years. Will you think that, but I've been xx years with him I should not break up with him/her? Please elaborate your reason

no don't stay in a relationship just because you've been together for a long time..relationships alway change and there could always be problems. always consider how you're feeling first. think about the real reason why you're together, is because you choose to be with each other everyday..don't think about how long you were together or how long you should be together with a person. those things cause you to be insecure and make you lose your path

i'm not going to stay in a relationship where we're constantly fighting, can't communicate, he's abusive etc even though we've been dating for years and those things happened just recently like a year or a few months. maybe i will try to fix things and solve the problems but if i see the future is so bleak with him and i keep missing the old times with him whenever i'm thinking about him, i would rather break up.
