BTS' lyrics always have more to them but this song left me awestruck. This comeback affirmed just how aware the guys are of everything that goes on around them. I have to say that at first I was surprised by the lyrics to this... a fandom song. I don't know why because after thinking about it even a little it seems very much like BTS, perfectly fitting. I was thinking it'd be a song full of fluff and things that someone might say to make someone happy, but I really was amazed. The lyrics fit perfectly to the things that surround BTS and ARMYs. They addressed how they deal with these things too, and that they feel hurt as well, but we're here for each other and that's what matters. Ah, I'm not really an emotional person, but I have honestly teared up a couple of times while listening to this song and thinking about the lyrics. I really appreciate that they took the time to craft these lyrics so honestly and personally. Some of the lines that I especially like are italicized. The fact that they know everything haters say and have to deal with blind criticism thrown directly at them makes me sad. But it's also comforting how they keep telling us to forget about it, to just focus on the journey and smile. Honestly, BTS wouldn't be where they are without ARMY; but ARMY wouldn't be able to take all of this without BTS reminding us of why it's worth it. Lol this sounds super cheesy, but it's true. I'm still so overwhelmed by some songs, that I didn't look at some lyrics (like Reflection.. I know I'll be a mess) These boys.. or should I say these men.. they are so.. It truly feels like the bond between BTS and ARMY is a special one. I'm in quite a few fandoms, but no one has ever managed to make me feel quite so cherished as Bangtan has done on multiple occasions. It's truly something else. No matter what happens in the future, I will always treasure these moments and this time in my life where a bunch of strangers managed to touch me so deeply from the other side of the planet. Ah this is exactly why I love this song so much, I didn’t expect that, but I really should have. I should know by now that BTS is… just so… BTS. I think that is a really great way of expressing what this song says to me. I can't say that I've teared up about it, but I've definitely choked up a little. To be honest I think that this bond they've formed with fans with how willing they are to open up about themselves is the reason why I've been able to become so involved. Like someone mentioned, it's really raw and honest like "yeah we have ups and downs but let's hope for a better day together, so thanks for sticking with us". Plus, it's not just a song that only fans and BTS can relate to but other people who have a hard time can find comfort from this as well.
