Katoe 5,170 Posted October 16, 2016 Share Posted October 16, 2016 ♦ General Information: Up to 12 players - The overall game will consist of 12 rounds and 4 bonus rounds. - The themes for each round will be decided upon by an online wheel (90% of the questions asked will be Korean related) The categories on the wheel consists of: 1. Famous People/Places (Monuments) 2. KPOP 3. OneHallyu 4. Random ♦ How to Win: - Players are divided into four teams at random (so 3 players per a team). Each round there will be 4 drawers and 4 guessers. I've made it so that each player will draw the same amount as every other player (4 times). At the start of each round I will show a list of who is drawing and who is guessing, so be ready when it is your turn. If you become inactive I will take over for your round (but I can only draw). - The catch here is that players do not know whom their teammates are prior to or during the game. This is to prevent collusion (since we are playing the game virtually after all and it would be impossible to know what’s happening in pms) and ensure that all players will do their best in their role either as a drawer or guesser. - You win AS A TEAM but you do not have to be on the same team to earn points. A player earns 1 point each time anyone guesses correctly the words they try to depict through their drawing, or each time they identify correctly the words drawn by others. In addition, if the guesser who guesses correctly first is from the same team as you, then your team will score an extra 2 bonus points. Points will be totaled at the end of the game, only one team wins. ♦ Round Information: Normal Round - 4 Drawers and 4 guessers For spectators: You can watch and chat, but don't be messy^^ For guessers: There will be 4 guessers for each round. I will notify the guessers with a xx:xx so they will know when to refresh the gameplay thread for the drawing. Do not come into the Drawing Room if it is your round to guess. Barging in will result in forfeiting your guess. Edited guesses will not be counted May make as many guesses as time permits (5mins); however, only one guess per post, meaning if multiple answers get merged into a single post only the first one will be counted Bonus Round: Rounds will be entirely Twice based. The doodle will be linked to the gameplay thread (it’s more complex than a picture) - Players can only guess 3 times! The player that guesses my drawing correctly will receive 3 points. Bonus round is supposed to be tricky, so be smart! How Twice related is Twice related?: 1. Catchphrases 2. Items related to the members 3. Nicknames 4. Etc ♦ For Drawers - I will PM the first drawer the password to the Drawing Room and what they are supposed to be drawing. - The drawer will enter the Drawing Room and will have 20s to draw from the moment they put the paintbrush on the board - I will have a timer and once 20s is reached I will kick you from the room, so draw fast! - Then I will pm the next drawer the same word/phrase and they will carry on from where your drawing left off The clue-giver can draw almost anything except for numbers and letters. ღUse your OH username when signing up as a guest http://www.guessasketch.com/play/ Still slightly confused? If we end up waiting for last minute replacements I won't wait that long and will probably re-organize teams lol. Katoe 5,170 Posted October 17, 2016 Author Share Posted October 17, 2016 Okay, I decided to get rid of the rule about making sure all lines connect and that picking up your cursor/paintbrush to paint again = auto kick from the drawing room. Then I made some other small changes, nothing major. Just to clarify how the game will be run, guess you can call this a TLDR: 12 Players (4 Teams of 3 - you don't know who is on your team) <-- This was changed 12 Rounds + 4 Bonus Rounds (Bonus Rounds played individually after every 4 rounds) Each round there are 4 drawers (who will be drawing the same phrase/word after each other, like a relay) and 4 guessers [look at op for detailed rules] Drawers have 20s to draw whatever, then the next drawer takes over from where they left off etc. Guessers will guess the drawing when I link it to the gameplay thread (5mins to guess) Like this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsHwyqeDxyI Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
