The country has become waaay more progressive, even in the last eight years. (the millennials are now the largest voting demographic) There are just certain homophobic regions of the country. Homophobia isn't necessarily aligned to political blue or red states either. Alaska is consistently a political red state but, it is also know to be one of the most LGBT friendly ones.... They have actually done national polls and the majority of American DO believe in gay marriage(above 60% actually) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_opinion_of_same-sex_marriage_in_the_United_States The more blue(not politically) the state, the more it supports gay marriage. I didn't know that, that's good. And I know running for president doesn't mean winning. What I meant is that in other places he wouldn't even been able to run for president. That photo was part of a set that was leaked from the filming of "Ooh, Um, Ah, Yeah", only it's not from any scene in the MV. Looks just like Solar and Moonbyul hanging out, getting some alone time. When the photos were released RBW issued a statement about it. Funny thing is they never denied the kiss. They just said "Nope, Solar wasn't with a guy. That was Moonbyul. Check out the MV where Moonbyul is dressed like a man." So some people have argued that it was all done as part of a promotional campaign. To which I say "Nonsense" 1.) Mamamoo wasn't that well known. A dating scandal wouldn't have really boosted their profile any, because it's not like they were super popular at the time. Maybe now when they've gotten so much more popular, but maybe not. 2.) There's no need for a fake kiss to generate that sort of publicity. Just Moonbyul and Solar alone in that care would be enough to generate a dating "scandal". Hell, all it takes to generate some dating scandals is for an opposite-sex couple to be in the same fucking room as each other and look at each other once and twice and a dating scandal emerges. 3.) RBW never denied that the kiss happened. Same thing with Moonbyul & Solar. In interviews and stuff they said that Moonbyul had dressed up as part of the promotions and that photos had been leaked, but they've (to my knowledge) never denied actually kissing. Of course I haven't seen any interview where they were flat out asked about the kiss either. 4.) Moonbyul & Wheein have some of the same touchy-feely (but not to the extent of Moonsun). But Hwasa is all "I'm going to grope the members every chance I get." One of the more provocative Wheesa moments. Yeah it's part of their choreographed show, but not that little hand trailing across Wheein's chest. Hwasa moving in to join the foursome Hwasa groping Wheein Hwasa groping Solar. OTOH, the girls in Mamamoo generally do most of their own choreography. And in that particular video it seems as if Hwasa and Wheein have an armpit kink . . .
